Dun­ve­gan's se­nior women's soccer team im­proved its GSL win­ter sea­son record to 13-0-1 last week, with a 4-2 dou­bling of Alexan­dria.

Genevieve Beauch­esne led the charge, scor­ing twice, with Michelle DeRe­pentigny and Emily McDon­ald adding sin­gles for the win­ning side, while Brae­lyn MacMaster and Amanda Myre had the Alexan­dria mark­ers.

The vic­tory stretches Dun­ve­gan's mar­gin atop the stand­ings to 15 points, ahead of Alexan­dria, 33 to 21.

Glen Ne­vis moved into a sec­ond-place tie with Alexan­dria, fol­low­ing an 8-0 thrash­ing of Dal­hart last week. Lo­gan Leger counted a hat trick, and Jes­sica McLeod scored twice. Sin­gle mark­ers were notched by Joanna Booyink, Ash­ton MacDon­ald, and Katie McDougald.

Glen­garry’s ban­tam girls hockey team scored a 6-0 vic­tory over Ot­tawa B2 last Satur­day af­ter­noon, with goals from Court­ney St. Onge ( 3), Laure Paige Nose­wor­thy, Bri­anna Belle­feuille, and Mya Camp­bell. Madi­son Ozen back­stopped the win.

The girls top the 21-team league, with a record of 17-1-1. Play­offs be­gin Feb. 23.
