Drouin must speak
The Editor, MP Francis Drouin needs to tell the people of Glengarry-Prescott-Russell his position regarding the alarming scandal rocking the country.
The serious allegations that Justin Trudeau and the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) politically interfered to prevent a criminal prosecution of SNC-Lavalin on corruption and fraud charges strike at the very heart of our democracy.
Jody Wilson-Raybould was then fired as the Attorney General. When Justin Trudeau “spoke for her,” she immediately resigned from Cabinet. Justin Trudeau then attacked her publicly, insinuating that she had not done her job, but at the same time he refused to let her speak.
Justin Trudeau’s ever-changing responses to questions from Canadians and the media have thrown the government into chaos.
And now, the Liberal-dominated Justice Committee just embarrassed itself by forcing a secret “in-camera” investigation that excludes every witness directly involved in this affair.
Where does our MP Francis Drouin stand on this controversy? Or does he agree that Jody WilsonRaybould should be allowed to speak? His constituents deserve to know.
