In all of my years working contract-to-contract both here in Canada and abroad, I’ve never worked with a more passionate, dedicated, encouraging and welcoming group of people than what I found at

It was an honour and a privilege to work with such an amazing group of people and an experience that I will forever hold near and dear to my heart.

I’d also like to take a moment to mention all of the staff and volunteers at the Glengarry Highland Games who provide countless hours every year to host one of the largest and most successful Highland Games in the world.

Growing up, we always looked forward to the Games as a chance to celebrate our Scottish heritage and meet up with friends and family who made the annual pilgrimage back to Glengarry to join us in our celebrations. This tradition wouldn’t be possible without the hard work and dedication of all of the folks who invest their time, their experience and their love of the Games to promote our heritage and showcase the very best that Glengarry has to offer.

Finally, I’d like to thank the people of Glengarry near and far for their support and encouragement. Not a day went by over the summer when I didn’t hear someone - either online or in person - express their gratitude for the work that I was doing. After spending so many years away, I couldn’t imagine a better welcome home.

I am truly blessed and honoured to be part of this amazing community and to have had the opportunity to work with such a stellar group of people to promote all that Glengarry has to offer.
