Mul­ti­ple charges

The Corn­wall Com­mu­nity Po­lice Ser­vice ar­rested Joshua Lau­zon-McAlear, 20, of Summerstow­n, May 12 on the strength of two war­rants for fail­ing to at­tend court and for breach­ing his pro­ba­tion.

Fol­low­ing his ar­rest, Mr. Lau­zon-McAlear was also charged with five counts of breach of a re­cog­ni­zance and one count each of fraud un­der $5,000 and un­law­ful use of a credit card.

The breach charges were for: fail­ing to abide by a cur­few; fail­ing to re­side at a cer­tain ad­dress; fail­ing to no­tify a change of ad­dress to po­lice; con­tact­ing a cer­tain per­son; and pos­sess­ing a card with a data strip.
