Sisters Race For A Cure Sunday
This coming Sunday, July 28, Dave Séguin will be racing for much more than a spot in the winner’s circle at the Cornwall Speedway.
The Apple Hill pro stock driver will be organizing the “Sisters Race for a Cure,” a fun competition to benefit the Grace Science Foundation, which is trying to cure NGLY1 deficiency.
“My three daughters have NGLY1 deficiency which causes weak muscles, liver disease and seizures,” explains Séguin.
Racers will be vying for $1,000 in the 50-lap event.
Séguin will have extra support as members of his wife’s family are flying in from the Maritimes for the program.
Séguin and Eric Jean-Louis will have their cars on display from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Fans will be able to make donations on the spot. Each donation will give the donor a chance to win one of two children’s bicycles. The draw will be held at intermission time.
JLB Heating and Cooling will be matching donations.
