Spencer Stu­art is pleased to an­nounce that Jen­nifer Hirshfeld, a Con­sul­tant with the firm, has been pro­moted to co-lead the Cana­dian Fi­nan­cial Of­fi­cer Prac­tice. Jen­nifer has over 20 years of ex­ec­u­tive search ex­pe­ri­ence and has suc­cess­fully led nu­mer­ous CFO, Cor­po­rate Con­troller, In­ter­nal Au­dit and other se­nior level ex­ec­u­tive searches across mul­ti­ple in­dus­tries. She joined Spencer Stu­art in 2001 and re­mains a core mem­ber of the North Amer­i­can Fi­nan­cial Of­fi­cer Prac­tice.

Prior to join­ing Spencer Stu­art, Jen­nifer worked as a Con­sul­tant with an­other lead­ing ex­ec­u­tive search firm fo­cus­ing on se­nior level searches for clients in con­sumer, tech­nol­ogy, fi­nan­cial ser­vices and in­dus­trial mar­kets. She be­gan her ca­reer in the pub­lish­ing in­dus­try af­ter earn­ing an hon­ours B.A in English from Huron Col­lege, Univer­sity of West­ern On­tario.

Jen­nifer serves on the Board of The Cana­dian Mother­craft So­ci­ety, a Toronto-based char­ity de­liv­er­ing early learn­ing and care, early in­ter­ven­tion and spe­cial needs pro­grams to fam­i­lies with young chil­dren as well as ed­u­ca­tion and train­ing to the pro­fes­sion­als who work with them.


Spencer Stu­art is pleased to an­nounce that Brad Bev­eridge has joined its Toronto of­fice as a mem­ber of the Busi­ness & Pro­fes­sional Ser­vices Prac­tice where he leads strate­gies and ini­tia­tives for Canada. He is also a mem­ber of the Fi­nan­cial Ser­vices Prac­tice in North Amer­ica. With more than 20 years of global con­sult­ing and man­age­ment ex­pe­ri­ence, Brad of­fers deep in­sight into se­nior-level ex­ec­u­tive search, as well as tal­ent and lead­er­ship de­vel­op­ment.

Over his ca­reer, Brad has led CEO, se­nior ex­ec­u­tive and board di­rec­tor searches across a va­ri­ety of sec­tors. Prior to join­ing Spencer Stu­art, Brad was an ex­ec­u­tive vice pres­i­dent with a global hu­man cap­i­tal man­age­ment firm, where he led a large team across sev­eral lines of busi­ness. He also served on the ex­ec­u­tive com­mit­tees for Cana­dian and global op­er­a­tions.

He be­gan his ca­reer as a lawyer at a Toronto-based law firm and was called to the On­tario Bar in 1994. Brad earned an hon­ours B.A. & Sc from McMaster Univer­sity, a J.D. from the Univer­sity of West­ern On­tario and an M.B.A. from the Rot­man School of Man­age­ment at the Univer­sity of Toronto. He has en­joyed serv­ing as a board mem­ber for youth and health­care foun­da­tions.


Spencer Stu­art is pleased to an­nounce that Seonaid Charlesworth has joined the firm, where she leads the growth of lead­er­ship ad­vi­sory ser­vices across Canada as part of the global lead­er­ship ad­vi­sory prac­tice. With over 20 years of ex­pe­ri­ence, she ad­vises clients on busi­ness is­sues re­lated to CEO suc­ces­sion, se­nior ex­ec­u­tive as­sess­ment and de­vel­op­ment, and cul­ture trans­for­ma­tion.

Work­ing ex­ten­sively with CEOs, boards, and ex­ec­u­tive teams, she has as­sessed over 500 se­nior ex­ec­u­tives in a va­ri­ety of sec­tors, in­clud­ing tech­nol­ogy, en­ergy, fi­nan­cial ser­vices and re­tail. She be­gan her ca­reer in Chicago and later worked in San Fran­cisco with a global lead­er­ship ad­vi­sory firm con­sult­ing to For­tune

100 com­pa­nies in the US, UK, Nether­lands and Asia in CEO and ex­ec­u­tive suc­ces­sion and lead­er­ship de­vel­op­ment.

A grad­u­ate of Queen’s Univer­sity, Seonaid earned a Ph.D. and M.A. in In­dus­trial / Or­ga­ni­za­tional Psy­chol­ogy from UBC. She serves on the Board of Di­rec­tors of St. Ge­orge’s School.
