Spencer Stuart is pleased to announce that Jennifer Hirshfeld, a Consultant with the firm, has been promoted to co-lead the Canadian Financial Officer Practice. Jennifer has over 20 years of executive search experience and has successfully led numerous CFO, Corporate Controller, Internal Audit and other senior level executive searches across multiple industries. She joined Spencer Stuart in 2001 and remains a core member of the North American Financial Officer Practice.
Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Jennifer worked as a Consultant with another leading executive search firm focusing on senior level searches for clients in consumer, technology, financial services and industrial markets. She began her career in the publishing industry after earning an honours B.A in English from Huron College, University of Western Ontario.
Jennifer serves on the Board of The Canadian Mothercraft Society, a Toronto-based charity delivering early learning and care, early intervention and special needs programs to families with young children as well as education and training to the professionals who work with them.
Spencer Stuart is pleased to announce that Brad Beveridge has joined its Toronto office as a member of the Business & Professional Services Practice where he leads strategies and initiatives for Canada. He is also a member of the Financial Services Practice in North America. With more than 20 years of global consulting and management experience, Brad offers deep insight into senior-level executive search, as well as talent and leadership development.
Over his career, Brad has led CEO, senior executive and board director searches across a variety of sectors. Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Brad was an executive vice president with a global human capital management firm, where he led a large team across several lines of business. He also served on the executive committees for Canadian and global operations.
He began his career as a lawyer at a Toronto-based law firm and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1994. Brad earned an honours B.A. & Sc from McMaster University, a J.D. from the University of Western Ontario and an M.B.A. from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto. He has enjoyed serving as a board member for youth and healthcare foundations.

With over 20 years of experience, she advises clients on business issues related to CEO succession, senior executive assessment and development, and culture transformation.
Working extensively with CEOs, boards, and executive teams, she has assessed over 500 senior executives in a variety of sectors, including technology, energy, financial services and retail. She began her career in Chicago and later worked in San Francisco with a global leadership advisory firm consulting to Fortune
100 companies in the US, UK, Netherlands and Asia in CEO and executive succession and leadership development.
A graduate of Queen’s University, Seonaid earned a Ph.D. and M.A. in Industrial / Organizational Psychology from UBC. She serves on the Board of Directors of St. George’s School.
