Of Lind­say passed away peace­fully on No­vem­ber 7, 2018 in her 96th year. She was pre­de­ceased by her hus­band Don­ald Moir (2009); and her par­ents Pauline and Ni­cholas Kufti­noff; her brother Jack and sis­ters Kather­ine and Jean. Sur­vived by her sis­ter Vera of Sher­wood Park, Al­berta and by her 4 chil­dren, 7 grand­chil­dren and 3 great-grand­chil­dren, Barb (Moir) and Ferg Mor­ris­sey; daugh­ters Jen­nifer (Mal­colm Bechard) and Meaghan (Mike Baird); Bev Moir (Ron Fore­man); son James (Jo­ce­lyn) and Ophe­lia; Brenda (Moir) and John Robin­son; sons Ian and Jamie (Rachel Brown) and Ian’s chil­dren Ella and Cole; Bruce Moir (Lori Mar­tin); son Chris and daugh­ter Devon. Amy was born in Bri­tish Columbia and spent her youth in Al­berta. Af­ter grad­u­at­ing, Amy moved to Mon­treal where she worked, met and mar­ried Don­ald. The fam­ily moved to Kitch­ener-Water­loo and later to Lind­say, home for 50 years.

Our Mother was a great cook and healthy eat­ing ad­vo­cate, skills she passed to her chil­dren. She en­joyed curl­ing, ski­ing, golf and bridge for over 50 years. Spe­cial thanks to the car­ing staff at Ade­laide Place, to Dr. Peter An­der­son and Lisa Rausch. In lieu of flow­ers, a do­na­tion to the Ross Memo­rial Hos­pi­tal Foun­da­tion or Cam­bridge Street United Church, Lind­say would be ap­pre­ci­ated. A cel­e­bra­tion of life will be held at a later date.
