It is with great sad­ness that the fam­ily of Marion an­nounces her pass­ing three short weeks af­ter the loss of her soul mate Bill. She died of a bro­ken heart. Marion is sur­vived by her chil­dren, Margie (Gord) Davidson, Bill (Anne) and Patsi ( Mark) Hunter; her grand­chil­dren, Emily (Brian), Elizabeth, Al­lie, James, Clare, Will, Kate, David, John, Thomas, Daniel and Laura; her sis­ter, Bun­nie (Don) Hunter; and her sis­ter-in-law, Gail (Larry Miller) Thomson. She will be missed by many nieces, neph­ews, and good friends. She was pre­de­ceased by her par­ents, Bebe (nee Southam) and Jimmy Thomson; and her brother, Jim. Marion was a rock in the fam­ily; al­ways there, kind, sup­port­ing, lov­ing and a great Mom. Ge­or­gian Bay was close to Mom’s heart and a place she en­joyed with Dad, fam­ily and friends.

A cel­e­bra­tion of Marion’s life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Mon­day, De­cem­ber 17, 2018 at the Tama­haac Club, 180 Fil­man Road, An­caster. Marion will be laid to rest pri­vately at Burling­ton Me­mo­rial Gar­dens Ceme­tery. In lieu of flow­ers, do­na­tions in Marion’s mem­ory may be made to Di­a­betes Canada.
