Festival of Wizardry Announces Saturday Tickets Now Sold Out
With only 18 Days until the 2018 Festival of Wizardry, organizers have announced that the Saturday Wizard’s Pass is now sold out. But it’s not too late to attend the festival as people still have three options left.
Friday is focused on families with it’s lower price $24.89 which is also why the alcoholic beverage area (The Restricted Section) will not be open.
Sunday tickets are available for $49.89 with the special guest appearance by Bonnie Wright (AKA: Ginny Weasley), come watch her live interview or get an autograph, have a drink in the ’Restricted Section’, a licensed area serving “Better Beer, Hungarian Fireballs, and Half-Giant Stout” and watch our ’Parody Panels’ by the Improv Dandies, Toronto’s premier comedy troupe.
Lastly, only 208 VIP tickets are left at $149.89 which allows you entry into all three days, free parking, front-ofline benefits, VIP Seating, welcome bag (including last year’s t-shirt, a Borealis School temporary tattoo, and a few other surprises) and VIP’s will get into the event 1 hour early. Festival organizers have also opened the Friday to class trips from the AMDSB grades 2-6 at only $10 per student and free entry for chaperones.
Festival organizer Nathan Swartz wants to remind everyone that “This event has always sold out and tickets are not guaranteed at the door. With Saturday tickets now sold out, we are now anticipating Sunday tickets will be sold out before the final online deadline on Sept 20th, 2018.” With a school for magic, house tents, feast halls, archery tag, bubble soccer, paddle boats, quidditch, a licensed drink area, dozens of food trucks and and over 15,000 sq. ft of vendors it’s no surprise why there is so much interest in Canada’s Biggest Wizarding Festival.
Gate entry and parking passes will be approximately $10 more than the regular online price and the VIP Tickets will not be available at the door. For details on this event and to buy online tickets people can go to: Transfiguredtown.com and find the ‘Festival of Wizardry’ in Events.
