31 GODERICH SIGNAL STAR WEDNESDAY, JUNE 12, 2019 HPCDSB TRACK AND FIELD MEET Ella Standbury from St. Mary’s School in Goderich competed in the senior girls’ long jump at the Huron-Perth Catholic District School Board System Track and Field Elementary Meet held at St. Anne’s Catholic Secondary School in Clinton on June 6. Dean O’Reilly (left) from St. James Catholic Elementary School finished third in the 50-metre dash while Dominic Jeffrey from Precious Blood Catholic School won the race and Reiko Quinlan from St. Joseph’s came second. The track and field competitio­n was held June 6.
