THE GROUP OF… 10?

-

While the Group of Seven did originally start off with seven members, perhaps confusingly, the name is a bit of a misnomer. In all, there were 10 members of the Group. The three that were later invited to join were A.J. Casson (1926) from Toronto, Edwin Holgate (1930) from Montreal and Lionel Lemoine Fitzgerald (1932), the “Painter of the Prairies,” from Winnipeg.
