Passed away peacefully, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Wednesday, October 10, 2012, with her loving family by her side, Marjorie Louise Rayner of New Annan, aged 92 years. Born in Summerside on March 21, 1920, daughter of the late Frederick and Sarah ( Lewis) Hooper. Beloved wife of the late Ernest Delbert Rayner. Predecease­d by her sister Muriel ( Hooper) Blanchard. Lovingly remembered by her six children, Joyce ( Roger) Newman, Ottawa, ON; Fred ( Diane) Rayner, Embrun, ON; Linda ( Doug) MacKay, Charlottet­own; Alan ( Brenda) Rayner, Fredericto­n, N. B.; Gorden ( Brenda) Rayner, Cornwall; Amy Rayner ( partner John MacAllar), Warren Grove. Sadly missed and forever loved by her 16 grandchild­ren, Joyce’s children Darcy and Todd; Fred’s children Tanya, Sherri and Scott; Linda’s children Rand, Rob, Mike, Angie, and Cathy; Alan’s children Derek, Karen and Kevin; Gorden’s children Carley, Shannon ( deceased), and Chelsee; and 34 great- grandchild­ren. Also surviving sisters- in- law Geraldine, Mildred, Hazel, Doris and Ruth and many nieces and nephews, also her precious dog Molly. Marjorie’s vibrant personalit­y will be sadly missed by her many friends and community ( W. I., UCW, Choir members and Quilting friends). Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Friday from 2- 4 and 7- 9 p. m. Funeral service Saturday in the North Bedeque United Church at 10: 30 a. m.
