- BY TRACEY EVISON

Vineyard is a well- known and respected name in Christian music circles. One of the latest offerings from Vineyard Music is I Love Your Presence: Live From Phoenix.

Recorded live from the Burn Bright: Worship And The Kingdom of God conference in Phoenix, Arizona, the album was produced by Casey Corum.

Featuring the vocals of several artists, including Matt Turrigiano, Chris Lizotte, Steve Jones, Anabeth Morgan, Casey Corum and others, the album contains 14 live songs of praise and worship.

The CD opens with Let It Come, an energetic tune in a country rock style featuring Matt Turigiano, praying for Jesus’ will to be done here on earth. “Jesus, hear my prayer.... Let it come/ I wanna’ see your kingdom come/ I wanna’ see Your will be done/ Hear on earth just like above/ Now is the time for salvation/ Let it come.”

One Thing Remains sings from the message of 1 Corinthians 13: “Your love never fails, never gives up, never runs out on me .... On and on and on it goes/ It overwhelms and satisfies my soul.” Other titles on the album include Saving Grace, What Can I Bring, One Thing Remains and the title track, I Love Your Presence. Also included was I Lift My Eyes Up ( Psalm 121) by Canadian songwriter, Brian Doerksen.

Throughout I Love Your Presence, the listener is drawn into the presence of God. The titles are worshipful, and easy to listen to and learn, especially since the entire album compels the listener to sing along and join in the spirit of worship that permeates the CD.

Another well- known name in worship music is that of Robin Mark. Long acclaimed for such albums as Revival in Belfast, Shout to the North and Year of Grace, Mark’s most recent live album, Fly, was recorded live in Bangor, Northen Ireland. Tracks include Fly, He Will Not Remember and You Said, a gentle, heartfelt worship song that reminds listeners they can trust in Jesus despite uncertainty. “You said You are the Resurrection and the Life/ And whoever believes in You will never die/ And You said that by Your Word and power/ Even though we die, we’ll live forevermore. I believe.... in You.”

Fans of Mark will be glad to hear the singer/ songwriter will be in Charlottetown early this coming week. Mark is in Canada with the Max Lucado’s Grace tour and will leave western and central Canada to perform one Maritime concert at Zion Presbyterian Church in Charlottetown, Tuesday, Oct. 16, 7 p. m.
