Irate writer clears record

-

Editor,

I have never been so insulted and hurt in all my life. It’s been said around Alberton that I’m not intelligent enough to have written the letter regarding the Alberton manor in last week’s newspaper and it’s been said that another resident of Alberton wrote the letter and got me to sign the letter.

The only reason this is being said is due to the fact I have mental illnesses, depression and bipolar disorder, and in this someone’s eyes if you have a mental illness this signifies that you are stupid.

Just to set the record straight I wrote that letter with no help and I’m not stupid nor are people with mental illness( es) stupid, I have a Grade 12 academic French immersion diploma from Westisle, graduation year 2003 and I also have a two- year diploma for Bioscience Technologist from Holland College in Charlottetown, graduation year 2012.

Just in case no one knows what a bioscience technologist is I’ll explain it a tiny bit. I can take an unknown organism, grow it on agar, identify whether that unknown culture ( organism) is gram positive or gram negative, look under a microscope to determine whether the unknown culture is rod shaped or round shaped, isolate its DNA ( deoxyribonucleic acid) from the unknown culture’s cell, take the DNA and send it away for DNA sequencing and use that DNA that was sequenced to run it in a database to identify the unknown culture.

I’d also like to add that I was the one that took nine pages of handwritten notes from the meeting which the mayor didn’t attend and town council never wanted to hear anything regarding those notes that were taken at the meeting. I leave you with this final note. Here’s one voter who will not be voting for the current mayor or the current MLA, Pat Murphy. Tiffany Bernard, Insulted resident of Alberton
