2. Jennifer Baichwal – City Cinema, today at 6: 45 p. m. For this special event, Jennifer Baichwal, the director of the groundbrea­king films Watermark ( 6: 45 p. m.) and Manufactur­ed Landscapes ( 9: 15 p. m.), will be in attendance for a Q and A. Watermark also shows at City Cinema tomorrow through to Tuesday at 7 p. m.

3. Morgan Davis – Albert and Crown Pub and Eatery, Alberton, today at 8 p. m. and Trailside Café, Mount Stewart, tomorrow at 8 p. m. with dinner seating at 6: 30 p. m.

4. I’ll Be Seeing You – Trinity concert venue for many decades, was turned into a movie theatre in the mid- 1950s and was eventually purchased and renovated/ restored by Kier Kenny in 2009.

And as it has been further enhanced with recent funding and updates to the building, along with donations of theatre chairs from the Confederat­ion Centre of the Arts in May of this year, the Souris Show Hall is now running strongly as a not- forprofit venue and organizati­on United Church, today at 7 p. m.

6. Teem – Hunter’s Ale House, today at 11 p. m. Check out this dynamic and up and coming indie foursome as they share the bill with English Words.

7. Jamie MacSwain – The Dunk, Breadalban­e, tomorrow at 7: 30 p. m.

8. Alvvays with Whaleskin - Hunter’s Ale House, tomorrow at 11 p. m.

9. In Remembranc­e – Trinity United Church, Monday at 7: 30 p. m. The Confederat­ion Singers and Confederat­ion Centre Youth Chorus present their annual Remembranc­e Day concert of music and readings. headed by community volunteers.

Clinton actually co- chairs the hall’s advisory committee ( along with Anne McPhee), and it is clear that her presence — and the strong and dedicated work of the volunteers in general — are all adding a great deal of energy and positivity to the hall’s renewed life.

And Sunday’s concert was certainly a prime example of not only this kind of positivity, but this kind of infectious energy that Clinton has become known for
