Youngsters vie with adult entrants to impress — and also square off against — celebrity chefs. Any home cook who endures through all five rounds will win $100,000.

2 Beyond Scared Straight 10 p.m. on (A&E) Deputy Lyle of the Floyd County Jail uses his skills — and a variety of approaches ranging from coaxing to bullying to comforting — as he tries to redirect a carjacking gangbanger, a shopliftin­g party girl, a brutal fighter and a thief who robs old ladies toward more productive futures in the new episode “Floyd, Ga.: Dep. Lyle Lays Down the Law.”

3 Wayward Pines 10 p.m. on (FOX-R) A bomb left in his car makes Ethan (Matt Dillon) realize he may have learned too much about the town in the new episode “Betrayal.” He wonders if one or more of the locals in whom he placed his trust could be bent on eliminatin­g him. Kate and Harold (Carla Gugino, Reed Diamond) meet with Nurse Pam (Melissa Leo) on fertility-related matters. Ben and Amy (Charlie Tahan, guest star Sarah Jeffery) get closer.

4 Aquarius 10 p.m. on (NBC-B), (NBC-D) Given the Los Angeles setting of this drama, it’s likely that Hollywood would play into it — and it does, in a homicidal way, in the new episode “Cease to Resist.” A celebrity is murdered, but a studio’s executives try to prevent Hodiak (David Duchovny) from solving the crime. Emma and Sadie (Emma Dumont, Ambyr Childers) learn more about Manson (Gethin Anthony) from someone who’s a part of his history. Grey Damon and Claire Holt also star.

5 Hannibal 11 p.m. on (NBC-B), (NBC-D) Though Jack Crawford (Laurence Fishburne) thinks he has a partner in Inspector Pazzi (guest star Fortunato Cerlino) as they search for Hannibal (Mads Mikkelsen) in the new episode “Contorno,” the Italian policeman may have a separate agenda connected to Mason Verger (guest star Joe Anderson). 6 American Takedown 11:01 p.m. on (A&E) In the new episode “Dog Fighting,” The Humane Society of the United States teams up with a local sheriff’s department in a bid to rescue more than 40 abused dogs as the officials investigat­e a man who is suspected of breeding, training and selling canines to be used in vicious dog-fighting bouts.
