KINGSTON, Dr. Mark

The funeral for Dr. Mark Kingston was held on Thursday, December 31, 2015 from Belvedere Funeral Home to The Church of the Most Holy Redeemer where the mass was presided over by Fr. Floyd Gallant who proclaimed the Gospel and delivered the homily. The readings were proclaimed by daughter, Paula Kingston, and son, Mark Kingston. Son, Stephen Kingston, led the assembly in the Prayers of Intercession. Danny Boy was played as the prelude. The organist was Gary Cudmore. During the mass, the church choir, under the direction of song leader Mary Morrison, led the assembly in singing Be Not Afraid, Gift of Finest Wheat and God Created Earth and Heaven (Ode to Joy). Pallbearers were Drew Kingston, Mark Kingston, Stephen Kingston, Noah Kingston, Jeff Aylward and Stephen Penney. Interment took place in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Those attending the funeral liturgy included neighbours and friends from River Ridge.
