D Gs Camme has drawn Post 1 in the $6,000 J.A. Ferguson memorial invitation­al with Gilles Barrieau in the bike for trainer Jackie Matheson and Charlottet­own owners Tom Clark, Ron Matheson and Quentin and Hal Bevan.

Forever Paradise has Post 2 for driver Mike McGuigan and trainer Kevin MacLean, with the Trevor Hicken-trained duo of Bazillion (Marc Campbell) and All Turain (Corey MacPherson) leaving three and four.

Cape Breton favourite Junebugs Baby has Post 5 with Myles Heffernan in the bike while Smiley Bayama leaves from the extreme outside Post 6 with Cape Breton native Adam Merner in the bike for trainer Ron Gass.
