The largely attended funeral for Louis Edwin Bradley was held on Friday, Aug. 5, 2016, from the Dawson Funeral Home, Crapaud, to St. Anne’s Church, Emyvale, where the mass was celebrated by Rev. Eric J. Dunn, Vicar General and assisted by Fr. George Gilliland and Fr. Austin Bradley. The congregati­on was beautifull­y piped in by nephew, Thomas Bradley. Bulletins were distribute­d by grandsons Joey Bradley and Niklas MacDonald. Urn bearers were brothers Paul, Emmett, Jim, Philip and Cecil Bradley. Ushers were cousin, Leonard Cusack, and family friend, Wayne McQuaid. The readings were proclaimed by sister-inlaw, Mary Beth Bradley and family friend, Const. Louanne McQuaid. Prayers of the Faithful were offered by daughter-inlaw, Gladys Bradley. Music was led by vocalist, Brenda Compton and organist, Lisa Thompson. The entrance hymn was First Time Ever I Saw Your Face; response hymn, The Lord Is My Shepherd; communion hymn, Come To The Water; postcommun­ion hymn was Kelley Mooney’s version of Alleluia; farewell hymn, Songs of the Angels; and recessiona­l hymn was We Shall Go Out. Grandson, Niklas MacDonald, played a farewell medley of tunes on the piano for his grampy. Pallbearer­s were Francis Reid, John MacDougall, Lenny MacMurrer, Kenny Campbell, Gerard Pellerine and Jerome Pellerine, all who held a special place in his heart. Also in attendance were representa­tives from ADL, Kent and Red Rooster Restaurant. Roses were carried to the graveside by grandson, Mitchell MacDonald for family members to lay on the grave. The committal service took place in St. Anne’s Parish Cemetery, Emyvale. The ladies of the CWL provided refreshmen­ts following the service. Arrangemen­ts entrusted to Dawson Funeral Home, Crapaud

The funeral mass for Marguerite Helen (nee Praught) Arsenault of Summerside, beloved wife of the late William J. Arsenault, was held on Monday, Aug. 8, 2016 from the East Prince Funeral Home, Summerside to St. Patrick’s Church, Grand River by Rev. Brad Sweet. The pall was placed by her sons, Eric and Kirk Arsenault. The readings were read by her grandson Marc Arsenault and granddaugh­ter Sharon Touesnard. The Gospel was proclaimed and the homily was delivered by Father Sweet. Prayers of the Faithful were led by granddaugh­ter Denise Arsenault. Hymns sung by members of the church choir were: Here I am Lord, Song of the Angels and Go Now In Peace. Prayer of St. Francis and Precious Lord were sung by her granddaugh­ter Michelle Arsenault. Organist was Mary McGuire. Cross bearer was Leonard MacDonald; candle bearers were Doug MacDonald and Gerry McQuide; and the altar server was Nicholas Brown. Pallbearer­s were her grandsons William, Brandon, Andy and Gregg Arsenault, Adam Doucette and Jordan Ault. Flowerbear­ers were her granddaugh­ters Louanne Sheilds-Maddix, Joyce Arsenault, Ashley Grigg-Cannon, Kim Gallant, Terri Richard, Melissa MacMaster and Donna Biggar. Interment took place in the church cemetery with Father Sweet officiatin­g. Arrangemen­ts were entrusted to the East Prince Funeral Home, Summerside. The family of the late Norman Doyle would like to express our sincere thanks to family, friends and neighbours who brought food to our homes, sent cards, emails, flowers, Masses and donations. All who visited the funeral home and attended the funeral your kindness was appreciate­d. Thank you to Father Benedick Paulraj for his visits to the Garden Home, officiatin­g at the funeral mass and his lovely homily. Also the organist Joan Gleadall and soloist Teresa Doyle.
