Survey underway of 2014 Maritime university bachelor degree recipients

-

Students who obtained a bachelor’s degree from a Maritime university in 2014 will be contacted by email or telephone in the coming weeks to take part in a survey.

The Maritime Provinces Higher Education Commission recently launched the survey to gather information on graduates’ pursuit of further studies, employment, financing education, including debt and repayment experiences, and migration patterns.

The results will be important to governments, universities, student associations and the graduates in understanding the different pathways and key factors affecting successful transitions between education and work, or further studies.

“I’d like to urge graduates “The story of their collective experiences will help us to understand the larger picture of graduates’ challenges and successes, and the key factors that play a role in their transitions between education and work.” who are contacted to share their experiences and opinions,” said commission CEO Mireille Duguay.

“The story of their collective experiences will help us to understand the larger picture of graduates’ challenges and successes, and the key factors that play a role in their transitions between education and work.”

Graduates who complete the survey will have an opportunity to enter their name in a random draw for 10 prizes worth $500 each.

The survey will be conducted by Advanis, Inc., in both French and English and the responses will be kept confidential.

The governments of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island are funding the project.
