The Pride’s Declan MacEachern and Gallant scored power-play goals in the second period for a 2-0 lead. Josh MacDonald had two assists for the Pride while Gallant and Connor MacGregor each added one. Brandon McKenna made 25 saves for the win while Noah Laybolt stopped 32 shots in the loss. The Flyers improved to 24-3-1 while the Pride is 9-16-2. Successful candidates will begin in May. There will be tryout camps for the athletes this summer. The coach must be certified at Competitive Development or submit his/her plan to attain that status. The manager must have competitive introduction certification or submit the plan to attain that. Candidates will identify, recruit and train athletes as well as report to the high performance committee. Application deadline is Feb. 8. Criminal record checks must be submitted.
