VOTE FOR CANADIAN SONG

-

A new, free outdoor multimedia experience will be unveiled in downtown Charlottetown this summer. The show, “Signatures – A Canadian Spectacle Under the Stars,” is being presented by Discover Charlottetown, Confederation Centre of the Arts and Graphics eMotion in celebration of Canada 150. “Signatures” will play seven days a week, outdoors, at dusk until Oct. 1 on the sandstone walls of Confederation Centre of the Arts. Each night, the show closes with spectators invited to join an all-Canadian singalong. The organizers are inviting Canadians from across the country to help choose the show’s closing song and offering those who vote a chance to win a getaway to Island’s capital. Among the choices are Gene MacLellan’s “Snowbird” and Stompin’ Tom Connors’ “The Hockey Song.”
