The Funeral Service for Victor J. Baldwin was held on Friday, July 7, 2017, from Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home to St. Cuthbert’s Church, St. Teresa’s. The Funeral Mass was celebrated by Fr. Augustine Ignasimuthu. The Pall was placed on the casket by Victor’s wife Ann Baldwin and daughters Ann Marie Baldwin, Susan Baldwin and Darlene Martin. The Readings were proclaimed by Eddie Curran and Cathy Myers. Prayers of Intercessions were offered by Mary Nicholson. The organist was Michelle MacDonald. The Funeral Mass was sung by St. Cuthbert’s Church Choir. The Entrance Hymn was “Come To The Water”, Psalm 25 “To You Oh Lord I Lift My Soul”, the Offertory Hymn “Healer Of Our Every I ll”, Communion Hymn “One Love Released”, Song Of Farewell “Songs Of The Angels”, and the Recessional Hymn was the “City Of God”. The Altar Servers were Al Green, Elva Myers, Josephine Rogerson and Leonard Rogerson. The Pallbearers were Mike Bailey, Allan Smith, Ian MacDonald, Earl Ranahan, Paul MacDonald and Gary Bradley. The Honorary Pallbearers were Shane Docherty, Trevor Martin, Scott Curran, Eddie Curran, George Coffin, Bill Coffin, Parker MacDonald, Jackie Lawlor, Val Bradley, David Trainor, Jay Kenny, Ambrose Laybolt, John Stewart, Barry Gillan, Ivan Walsh and Percy Curran. Flower Bearers were Gabriel Martin, Chael Martin, Ty Clark, Rose Marie Clark, Davina Baldwin, Riel Docherty and Elin Baldwin. Eucharistic Ministers were Al Green and Elva Myers. Among those attending the Funeral Service were Hon. Pat Binns; members of the Progressive Conservative Party; members of the St. Cuthbert’s C.W.L.; members from Perfection Foods and members from McKenna Brothers. During the reception Cailyn MacAulay played the Fiddle. Interment took place in St. Cuthbert’s Parish Cemetery, St. Teresa’s.
