N.L. man dies after being struck by a vehicle

FLOWERS COVE, N.L. - A 39-year-old Brig Bay man walking along a roadway in the community died after being struck by a vehicle Wednesday night.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Flowers Cove responded to the accident at approximately 8 p.m. Police say the man died while en route to hospital and that there were no other injuries in the accident.

A RCMP traffic analyst attended the scene and the investigation is continuing.
