Logan Gallant

-

Who – A 21-year-old Cornwall resident, preparing for the Canada Games softball competition. He also plays baseball.

Position – Shortstop and pitcher.

Did you know? – Gallant and softball teammate Stephen O’Shea went to the 2013 Canada Games with the men’s baseball team. Gallant said the Games is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, but getting to go a second time is something he never expected.

More than wins – While any athlete wants to win, Gallant said

sports have provided him with many life skills that translate into his education at Holland College, UPEI or his summer job. They include things like dedication, work ethic and time management.

Softball coach Mark Quinn:

“Logan is also a student of the game. He’s the kind of guy that watches what’s going on . . . he’s always critiquing his ability of what he’s doing and making those minor adjustments.”

Baseball coach Dave MacIsaac: “His attributes are always welcome on any ball team.”
