The funeral for Paul Harry Large was held on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 from Belvedere Funeral Home to First Baptist Church, Charlottet­own. Rev. David Dubois conducted the service with organist Katherine Eye. Music for the service was lead by Irwin Webster singing Amazing Grace and The Love of God. Paul’s sister, Lysa Large Miller sang The Circle Game by Joni Mitchell. The congregati­onal hymn was Higher Ground. Paul’s mother, Margaret Collicutt, Howard Dalton, and Alban Moran shared words of Remembranc­e. The Scripture reading, Psalm 23 was read by nephew, Zach Moran. Honorary pallbearer­s were Ray and Joy Hanley and Emily Wells. Pallbearer­s were Alban Moran, Zach Moran, Willard Day, Robert Rayner, John MacBeth and Donnie Large. Flowerbear­ers were Julie MacDonald, Emily Wells, Rosemary Harpell and Joy Hanley. The procession­al played was Because He Lives and the recessiona­l was I Know Who Holds Tomorrow. Interment took place in Sherwood Cemetery after the service and refreshmen­ts. In attendance were the Tuesday Morning Prayer Group from Calvary Church and the PEI Hospital School of Nursing 1960.
