The Ceilidh at the Irish Hall welcomes Island son, Michael Pendergast, and his group The Pendy’s to the stage tonight at 8 p.m. The musicians are Michael Pendergast on accordion, accompanied on vocals by his son, Shane and his uncle, Tom McSwiggan, originally from County Tyrone, Ireland. The featured fiddler is brother-in-law, Andy Doucette, so making it a real family affair. The night will include a medley of traditional Irish and Maritime music and as always with a few funny stories thrown into the mix. There will be a 50/50 draw and a light lunch is served during the intermission. The Irish Cultural Centre is on North River Road in Charlottetown and doors open at 7 p.m. For more information call 902-566-3273.
