Cards/Cribbage/ Crokinole

Crokinole is Thursdays at the Hunter River Lions Hall, 7:30 p.m., with eight games, prizes and lunch for $4. No partner is needed. Stratford weekly Cribbage, sponsored by the Stratford Lions Club, is at the Cotton Centre, 57 Bunbury Rd., Thursdays, 7:30 p.m. Prizes are $100, $60 and $40. Hydro and massage workshops will be held Aug 3, 7 p.m., and Saturday, Aug. 5, 3 p.m., at Charlottetown Seventh-Day Adventist Church on 70 Royalty Junction Rd. All who are interested in simple ways to treat common ailments are welcome.

The Church Mouse Thrift Shop, St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, 391 Nelson St. (TCH), Crapaud, is open on Friday and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon, featuring books, CDs, men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, home furnishings, dishes, collectables and much more.
