Atlantic Sires Stakes colts seeking points

The Atlantic Sires Stakes three-year-old pacing colts head to Inverness Raceway in Cape Breton, N.S., on Sunday in the last chance to earn points towards the seasonending championship finals. First race post time is 1:30 pm.

Ashes to Ashes, the current points leader, will be on hand to defend his lead in one of two A division events, each going for $10,100 in purse money.

One B division race, going for a $2,500 purse, rounds out the card.

This year’s Atlantic Breeders Crown championships goes Thanksgiving weekend at Red Shores at the Charlottetown Driving Park.
