“A P.E.I. Musical Adventure” has been running on Tuesdays throughout the summer beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the MacKinnon Homestead, 31228 Western Road (Route 2) in Richmond, with the final show of the season on Sept. 5.

She has performed throughout Cape Breton, P.E.I., Ontario, and New Brunswick in a variety of festivals and venues. Not only does she perform on the bagpipes, piano, fiddle, accordion and guitar, she also sings, and composes. She currently teaches piano, fiddling, bagpipes, guitar and accordion in Richmond.

She has a recording available featuring traditional Scottish music with her and her family.

Provance has a long history as both church and theatre music director and performing arts teacher in public and private schools, as well as composer, professional singer, pianist, guitarist, play-writer, actor, poet and artistic director of a performing arts company.

She has received several awards for her abilities and dedication to the performing arts over the years.

She has endeavoured to compose songs and poetry about some of the more unusual P.E.I. history and has performed them over the past several years while summering in P.E.I. (she winters in Farmington, Ohio).

She sings and plays a variety of instruments for “A P.E.I. Musical Adventure”. She has two CDs available.
