The Four Tellers will perform their holiday show

-

Good-hearted humour, mingled with treasured memory, is what the Four Tellers will serve up when they perform their show, “Christmas with the Four Tellers”, this holiday season.

Denny King, Gary Evans, Alan Buchanan and David Weale will be dipping into their personal memories of Christmas past to come up with stories that will gladden the hearts of people both young and old.

Enjoy stories like the day Santa passed out on the road after his annual visit to a Georgetown home, the day a tiny band of siblings from Morell Rear set out on a failed mission to find the perfect Christmas tree, the Christmas Eve in Belfast when a frustrated father had to go out in the middle of the night to enlist the help of someone to help him assemble the doll house for his daughters. There is also the magical moment at the Christmas concert in Greenmount, when something entirely unexpected and absolutely wonderful came tumbling out of Santa’s sack.

These stories and many others will be knitted together with interludes of seasonal music from The Beck Sisters, Kerri Wynn MacLeod, Brad Fremlin and Bennett Buell.

There will be one matinee performance at the Victoria Playhouse on Nov. 26, four in Charlottetown (including two matinees) at the Florence Simmons Performance Hall at Holland College on Dec. 9 and Dec. 10 and one matinee in Georgetown on Dec. 17.
