GRANT, Patricia Mabel

-

Patsy passed away peacefully surrounded by her adoring family on December 11 in the Prince County Hospital. Patsy left this world with all of the grace, dignity, poise and humour with which she carried herself every day. Patsy loved life.

Some of her favourite pass times included playing bridge and painting with her dear friends, and our special Grant family dinners. Her greatest joys and accomplishments were her children. Having them and their families around her on summer days on P.E.I. was heaven to Patsy, a glass of wine and some clams were the icing on the cake. Patsy was an adoring grandmother, creating lifelong memories for her two “Angels”. Special memories include Patsy making special Christmas pajamas for her granddaughters every year, playing games of all sorts, especially crib, and giving her special Granny hugs. Patricia Mabel Grant was born in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia on August 14, 1940 to parents Lillian and Bill Middleton. Patsy is survived by her husband of 57 years Alexander, daughter Elaine (Paul), son Alex (Krista) and daughter Alyson. Patsy’s legacy will also continue to live on through her granddaughters Lauren and Gabrielle. No funeral by request. Condolences for the family can be sent to alex.grant@bellaliant.net. In lieu of flowers, donations in Patsy’s memory can be sent to the Prince County Hospital in recognition of the exemplary care that she received.
