A free two-week program Cooking for Better Blood Pressure will begin on Thursday, Feb. 15, 10-11:30 a.m., at Sobeys Extra Stratford. The public is invited to Restoring Acadian Forest Species in P.E.I. National Park, Thursday, Feb. 15, 7 p.m., at Confederat­ion Centre Public Library. This presentati­on discusses the challenges of this important initiative and the benefits to wildlife and to the environmen­t.

Cards/Cribbage/ Crokinole

The Seniors Active Living Centre, Bell Aliant Centre, UPEI, will be having a Cribbage tournament on Thursday, Feb. 15. Registrati­on begins at 9:15 a.m. with the games at 9:30 a.m. Admission is $5 for members and $6 for non-members. There will be a 50/50 draw and prizes for first, second and third. Partners are not required but are recommende­d.

Registrati­on is at 12:45 p.m. with the tournament starting at 1 p.m. Admission is $5 for members and $6 for non-members. There will be a 50/50 draw as well as prizes for first, second and third.

The Mayflower Seniors Club has bridge play Thursdays, 1:30 p.m., at the Robert L. Cotton Centre, Bunbury Road. All players are welcome. Call 902-569-1425.
