The Church Mouse Thrift Shop will be open on Saturdays in February in its winter quarters in the basement hall at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, 391 Nelson St., Crapaud, 9 a.m. to noon. Cards/Cribbage/ Crokinole/Bingo

Borden-Carleton Winter Cards Tournament will take place Islander Day, Feb. 19, at the Royal Canadian Legion. Play begins at 1:30 p.m. There is limited seating, so early arrival is important. Auction 45s will be in play with door prizes drawn throughout the day and winnings of $100., $40 and $20. A 50/50 table, fudge sale, a draw on a bed ensemble and a buffet lunch will top off the day. There is no reserving of tables so come in good time to obtain seating and a table for $7. Call Ralph, 902-437-2012, for information.
