Acoustic music jam is every Sunday, 2-8:30 p.m., at the Acadian Musical Village (Expo-Centre), Abram-Village, organized by the Acadian Musical Village and the Evangeline Bluegrass Festival. Evangeline Recreation Centre, Acadian Musical Village and Mont Carmel Parish hold a Chase the Ace draw every Friday at the Acadian Musical Village, Abram-Village. Copper Bottom Brewing is hosting Montague Food Bank’s first fundraiser of 2018, Feb. 24, with a silent auction, a 50/50 draw, food and several well-known Island musicians, including the Amanda Jackson Band, Johnny Ross (of the Ross Family), Katie McGarry, Anya Smith and Liam Corcoran. Music begins at 7 p.m., with doors opening up at 6 p.m. Admission is a suggested donation of $10 and a non-perishable food item, with all proceeds going directly to the Montague Food Bank.
