Fundraisers
A special dinner to raise funds to support the immigration of a refugee couple coming to P.E.I. from Afghanistan will be held Saturday, March 24, 6-8 p.m., at Sadat’s Cuisine, 223 University Ave., Charlottetown. Enjoy a multicourse meal of lamb, chicken, beef or vegetarian for $30, two-thirds of which goes to the refugee-support fund. Call 902-367-6631 or 902213-7420 to reserve a time and meal-choice.
Capture the Queen of Hearts is at the Fort Augustus Rec Centre, Fridays, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. Trivia is at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are sold until 8 p.m. for a chance to win a growing jackpot.
Environment
The public is invited to Seedy Saturday, Saturday, March 24 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Confederation Centre Public Library. Bring your extra seeds along to share or plan to try some of the donated seeds. This is a partnership between the Confederation Centre Public Library and the Cooper Institute.

Presentation
The Council for Health Improvement through Research and Practice (CHIRP) presents Michael Corman, Phd., principle adviser, Seniors Health P.E.I. Corman will speak on the development of the new Senior’s Strategy for P.E.I. It will take place at the Robert Cotton Centre, Stratford on March 24, 10 a.m. to noon.
