Linda Ruth MacDonald (Larter) passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, in her 91st year. She was pre­de­ceased by her beloved hus­band El­don “Slick”, son Robin “Muf­fin” and all her sib­lings and their spouses;

Larter (Florence) and Ar­line Glover (Don­ald). Linda taught school for 37 years at Rocky Point, Cen­tral Queens, Sher­wood and Park­dale (24 years). As much as she loved her stu­dents, her most pre­cious and fa­vorite role was spe­cial “Nana” to the many in­di­vid­u­als she adopted into her home and heart as cho­sen mem­bers of her ex­tended fam­ily, es­pe­cially Jonathan Harper. Left to cher­ish won­der­ful mem­o­ries are her daugh­ter Rhian MacDonald, grand­daugh­ter Anika Barry (Mikey) and in-laws Ada Gould (Harold, de­ceased), Ivan MacDonald (Edna), Ruth MacDonald (Her­bie, de­ceased) and nu­mer­ous nieces and neph­ews. Rest­ing at Belvedere Funeral Home for vis­i­ta­tion Sunday 2-5 p.m. The funeral ser­vice will be held at Zion Pres­by­te­rian Church on Monday at 10:30 a.m. Please join the fam­ily for a re­cep­tion af­ter the funeral. In­ter­ment in Flo­ral Hills Memo­rial Gar­dens. Memo­rial do­na­tions may be made to the Zion Pres­by­te­rian Church (Sound Sys­tem) Fund or the Crohn’s & Coli­tis Chap­ter PEI.
