Linda Ruth MacDonald (Larter) passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, in her 91st year. She was predecease­d by her beloved husband Eldon “Slick”, son Robin “Muffin” and all her siblings and their spouses;

Larter (Florence) and Arline Glover (Donald). Linda taught school for 37 years at Rocky Point, Central Queens, Sherwood and Parkdale (24 years). As much as she loved her students, her most precious and favorite role was special “Nana” to the many individual­s she adopted into her home and heart as chosen members of her extended family, especially Jonathan Harper. Left to cherish wonderful memories are her daughter Rhian MacDonald, granddaugh­ter Anika Barry (Mikey) and in-laws Ada Gould (Harold, deceased), Ivan MacDonald (Edna), Ruth MacDonald (Herbie, deceased) and numerous nieces and nephews. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home for visitation Sunday 2-5 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Zion Presbyteri­an Church on Monday at 10:30 a.m. Please join the family for a reception after the funeral. Interment in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to the Zion Presbyteri­an Church (Sound System) Fund or the Crohn’s & Colitis Chapter PEI.
