Jason Coady seeks re-election in Ward 8

-

Jason Coady has announced he will be seeking re-election as the councillor for Ward 8 – Highfield in the upcoming municipal election in Charlottetown.

Coady.

“Residents love their neighbourhoods and they want to see our city grow in a Coady responsible way,’’

Coady said. “Making house calls and answering questions is a big part of the job, but residents always say thank you for the time and effort. Being able to represent them at the council table is pretty special.”

A graduate of UPEI, Coady has a degree in business and a diploma in public administration. Coady and his wife, Kim, have a daughter, Marley, and they live on Parricus Mead Drive.

“They want someone who is accessible, who will listen to their concerns and who will represent their interests at City Hall. Residents see the progress being made. They just want it to continue, and I think my experience will help to make sure that happens.”

Jury selection has begun for three people, including a former Presbyterian minister, accused of frauds that targeted an elderly Oshawa widow and a north Durham animal rescue operation.

Harold Alan Stewart pleaded not guilty on Monday, Sept. 10, to several fraud-related charges.

He, along with Ashley Carlson and Alexsander Budimirovic, both of Oshawa, are accused of defrauding the woman between 2015 and 2016.
