Ramsay seeks second term on council
Kevin Ramsay will be seeking a second term on city council in Charlottetown when voters head to the polls on Nov. 5.
Ramsay, who currently represents Ward 5, has lived in the ward for more than 42 years where he and his wife, Cheryl, raised their three children, Stephen, Ryan and Michelle.
Since becoming a councillor in 2014, Ramsay has been the chairman of the seniors advisory board, chairman of youth retention, chairman of advanced planning, priorities and special projects and liaison between government and community partners working towards a long term affordable Ramsay housing strategy.
During his term, Ramsay has helped work toward the completion and improvements at Queen Elizabeth Park, the Spring Park Combined Water and Sewer Separation Project, and various street and sidewalk maintenances throughout Ward 5.
Ramsay has been involved with minor sports his entire life. He has held the position of president of Charlottetown minor hockey, coached hockey, baseball and soccer as well as other community and volunteer roles.
Ramsay has been an employee of T3 Transit for more than 12 years.
