Community

Looking for a summer operator: The Stanley Bridge Memorial Society’s board of directors is seeking a new operator for the Stanley Bridge Centre for the summer of 2019. The nearly century old building, which was a United Church for much of its life, has hosted a popular farmer’s and artisan’s market for the past several years and this past summer was leased by White Gables of Hope River. It has also hosted musical shows and history circles. Just recently the SBMS launched a major campaign to raise $100,000 by 2020 for needed renovations, including a new roof, washroom and kitchen.
