Free break­fast for West Prince busi­ness own­ers

The West Prince busi­ness com­mu­nity is in­vited to a com­pli­men­tary buf­fet break­fast in cel­e­bra­tion of Small Busi­ness Week.

The break­fast — pre­sented by the West Prince Cham­ber of Com­merce, Ru­ral Ac­tion Cen­tre in Al­ber­ton and CBDC West Prince Ven­tures - will be held at the Mill River Re­sort on Wed­nes­day, Oct. 17, from 8 to 10 a.m.

Kees and Sabina Ken­nema of Blue Sky Farms, a small green­house busi­ness in Brae, will be guest speak­ers.

Kees, who is orig­i­nally from Hol­land, has a back­ground in plant breed­ing and seed re­search, while Sabina was a pro­fes­sional florist in Switzer­land.
