Fundraiser

The Church Mouse Thrift Shop had such an abundance of gently used Christmas items come in for its coffee house and Christmas sale last week that it is extending the sale for Saturday, Nov. 10, in the church hall (no admission), 9 a.m. to noon. There will be plenty of gently used Christmas items and crafts. The sale is located at 391 Nelson St., Crapaud.

Cards/Cribbage/Crokinole

Stratford crokinole is played Fridays, 7:30 p.m., at the Cotton Centre, Stratford. Admission is $4 per person with lunch and prizes provided. Call 902-569-3910 for information

Scrabble is the second and fourth Saturday of the month in the dining room at The Mount, Mount Edward Road, Charlottetown, 1-3:30 p.m. Contact 902-368-7452.

Bridge is played at the Seniors Active Living Centre, Bell Aliant Centre, UPEI, on Mondays at 1 p.m. Tables of four are required.

Weekly free classes on Buddhism, as well as special classes on meditation, are being offered by the Great Enlightenment Buddhist Institute (GEBIS) at its Buddhist Centre in Charlottetown, 133 Queen St., second floor. Coffee club is Mondays and Fridays, 10 a.m., at the Milton Community Hall. Enjoy coffee and snacks. Admission is a donation of coin or treats.
