Drug trafficking charges laid

A 46-year-old Summerside man, a 42-year-old St. Raphael man and a 36-year-old Kensington have been arrested and are facing drug trafficking charges.

The three were arrested Nov. 7 by the Prince District Joint Forces Operations (JFO) Drug Unit, which is comprised of RCMP and Summerside and Kensington police members.

In all, crystal methamphetamine, methamphetamine pills, hydromorphone capsules and tablets, oxycodone, cash and weapons were seized.

The Prince District JFO Unit also arrested a 46-year-old Summerside woman on Nov. 7 after finding her with cocaine. She is currently facing trafficking charges.

The investigations into both cases are ongoing.
