Man ar­rested for break and en­ter

SUM­MER­SIDE – A 39-yearold Sum­mer­side man was ar­rested and charged with break and en­ter Nov. 7 in con­nec­tion with an in­ci­dent that oc­curred Sun­day morn­ing.

At about 9 a.m. on Nov. 4, Sum­mer­side po­lice re­ceived a call from an em­ployee of a busi­ness lo­cated in Sum­mer­side’s In­dus­trial Park re­port­ing he had just ar­rived for work and found a break-in in progress.

Two sus­pects fled the area be­fore po­lice ar­rived, but with the help of the em­ployee, of­fi­cers were able to iden­tify the ac­cused.

He will ap­pear in Sum­mer­side pro­vin­cial court at a later date.

Po­lice are still work­ing to pos­i­tively iden­tify the sec­ond sus­pect.
