Doucette guilty un­der Fish­eries Act

SUM­MER­SIDE – Mathew Doucette, 33, of Mimine­gash has pleaded guilty to a num­ber of charges un­der the Fish­eries Act. Doucette pleaded guilty to one count of un­law­fully fish­ing for lob­ster in lob­ster fish­ing area 25 dur­ing a closed time, one count of fish­ing for lob­ster by means other than a trap from a ves­sel and one count of fish­ing for lob­ster with­out au­tho­riza­tion.

Doucette was sen­tenced to pay a fine of $500.
