Wanda was the loving and dedicated mother of Kimberly Gibbs (Joey), Wendy Gallant (Jeff) and Jamie Gallant; beloved nanny to Allie Lee Rose Gallant; special niece and bingo buddy, Barbie Kelly; and special friend and brother, Roy Doucette. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Eric (Geraldine), Edward (Deanna), Freda Ariganello (Bruno), Reggie (Donalda), Jake (Lucy), Stella Gallant (Gary) and Raymond; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joseph Gallant (Linda), Marion Gauthier (Kenny deceased); Rita Younker (Ralph), Dorothy MacPhail (Wayne deceased), Margaret Gallant (Lawrence deceased), Gaylene Gallant (John Emile deceased) and Debra Gallant (Alyre deceased); and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Levi, Wanda is predeceased by her parents, Aubrey and Mary (Doucet) Doucette; parents-in-law, Emile and Ida Gallant; sisters, Doreen Ford (Floyd) and Patricia Gallant (John); brothers, William, Earl and Harvey Doucette; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Arthur Gallant, Vernon Gallant, Rosemarie Kelly (Billy Gauthier and Robert Kelly). Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, 2538, Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2018 from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine’s Roman Catholic Church, South Rustico, on Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Augustine’s Cemetery.
