Church hosts Phase II and Friends

Folks in Sum­mer­side will have the op­por­tu­nity to get into the Christ­mas spirit with an af­ter­noon concert at Sum­mer­side Pre­by­te­rian Church, begin­ning at 2 p.m. on Sun­day, Dec. 9.

Phase II and Friends have put to­gether a show called “Rockin’ Lit­tle Christ­mas.” The en­ergy level will be high as the band moves through lively tunes like “Rockin’ Around the Christ­mas Tree” and “All I Want For Christ­mas Is You”. They’ll change pace for “O Holy Night”, “Mary Did You Know” and “Christ­mas Started With A Child”. Two au­di­ence favourites this year will be “Do You Hear What I Hear” and the ever pop­u­lar, “Hal­lelu­jah”.

Phase II and Friends fea­tures vo­cal­ists Keila Gly­don, Jeanie Camp­bell and Gerry Hickey backed up by four Is­land’ mu­si­cians with Blaine Mur­phy on lead gui­tar, John McGarry on bass, Pat King on key­board and sax­o­phone and Ed Young on drums. Doors open at 1 p.m. Tick­ets will be avail­able at the door.
