The funeral for the late Roy Kennedy Fraser beloved husband to Ruby nee Adams Fraser of Northport, P.E.I. was held on Tuesday December 4th, 2018 from the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel Alberton to the Elmsdale Church of the Nazarene where funeral service was conducted at 2:00 p.m. by Pastor Mike Zita. and Pastor Shelia McCrea-MacCallum. The scripture reading from John 14;1-6 was addressed by grandson Tyler Hardy. The second scripture reading from Rev. 21:1-7 was addressed by Pastor Mike Zita. The Eulogy was delivered by son in law, Kenny Ashley. The Message was delivered by Pastor Sheila McCrea-MacCallum. Special music in song for the funeral service were grandson in law Morgan Smallman (Guitar) sang Knowing You’ll Be There. Rick Payne (Guitar) sang the selection A Heart that Will Never Break Again, Paul Pridham and Shelly Rennie sang The Lighthouse, the men’s fellowship choir sang the selection, Thank You Lord for Your Blessings on Me. The congregational hymns were, The Haven of Rest, Will, Your Anchor Hold, and Shall We Gather at The River. The pianist was Marilyn Ashley. The Guitarist was Marvin Blanchard and Raymond Richard. The pallbearers were Kenny Ashley, Alan Hardy, Tyler Hardy, Mitchell Hardy, Kramer Gallant, Korbin Fraser, the flower bearers were Valene Perry, Kendra O ‘Brien, Karissa Smallman, Karley Fraser. Everyone present for the funeral liturgy were considered to be Honorary Pallbearers. Interment was in the Church of the Nazarene Cemetery with Rev. Mike Zita and Rev. Sheila McCreaMacCallum officiating.
