The 12 strays of Christmas
The first animal to be profiled in the 2018 edition of the 12 Strays of Christmas is Wolverine. This affectionate two-month-old black kitten loves playtime with his brother, Siggy. Wolverine is also a little wild man who loves his wand toys. He has lived with other cats and dogs and would do well with respectful children. Adoption tip #1: Fosters at the PEIHS now stay with their litter mates for 12 weeks. New veterinarian research says that staying longer with their brothers and sisters makes healthier, happier adult cats. If you have a new kitten at home, it’s recommended that they get spayed or neutered before six months of age to prevent unwanted litters.
