World Day of Prayer service at Our Lady of the Assumption is on Friday, March 1, at 7 p.m. The prayer service is written by women of Slovenia. Everyone welcome.

World Day of Prayer Service for York Covehead Charge, St Eugene, St Michaels and Tracadie parishes will be held at Central United Church in Dunstaffna­ge on Friday, March 1 at 2 p.m. All are welcome to this ecumenical service.

Tryon Baptist Church will host a World Day of Prayer service on Friday, March 1 at 7:30 pm. All Welcome. Participan­ts from area churches will share in leadership of this service. (Stormdate: March 3 at 2:30 p.m.)

Cards/Cribbage/Crokinole

Kensington Lions Auction cards is Fridays, 7 p.m., at the Kensington Legion, 30 Garden Dr.

Weekly card play is at the Silver Threads Club in Souris, Fridays, 7 p.m.

Capture the Queen of Hearts is at the Fort Augustus Rec Centre, Fridays, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. Trivia is at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are sold until 8 p.m. for a chance to win a growing jackpot.
